Traummaschine Inc is a group from Munich and North Germany working in the areas of performance, music, visual arts, fashion design, and film. Since 2013, the “dream maschine” develops theatre performances for teenagers and children. The diversity of the actors enables access to the audience that speaks to them on multiple levels. The story is only one of many narration tools. The music, the act of playing with form and material, and the acoustic and visual pictures are just as important. Traummaschine’s way of working is influenced by developing theatre pieces that are often not performed on a traditional stage but rather in public spaces outdoors.
